Gordon bought us the traditional Swedish birthday cake - 'Princess cake'....
The girls each painted a traditional Dala horse for me and Jan.... Gordon found an art supply store, told the employee he was looking for a Swedish horse to paint... the employee went to another person and in air quotes asked about the "Swedish" horse. So we now know they are called Dala (short for Dalarna, an area in Sweden) horses.
