More Fall in Stockholm

It has been an unusually gorgeous, sunny, dry Fall.  It really is amazing to see crowds of people just out walking, enjoying the weather.  Lucy and I took a three hour walk around Djurgarden.

In Peaceful Service - placed at the beginning of 'Ambassador's Row'

A perfect picnic spot!

Someone in serious training.. friends refueling him with coffee and snacks
Gravel paths... end up in your socks, shoes and embedded in the soles of your shoes.  Everyone here always takes their shoes off at the front door... it's not fun to step on these pebbles in your bare feet and they don't vacuum up easily!

Stockholm Rowing Club... typical Swedish scene - drinking coffee, soaking up the sunshine!

Tomato soup at Flickorna

Aggressive birds!

Later in the day we looked at a couple of boats.  Most boats are already put away for winter.
