U.S. Godis = Goodies

Care packages from friends and family in the states are really special.... not only is it really thoughtful, I know it's really expensive to ship!  Any time we get a package it's like Christmas, the girls get so excited. They appreciate certain things so much more.  Following is just a sample of the treats we've received... I couldn't find all my photos.

As soon as the girls open a package they immediately divide all goodies even-steven...  Audra and Sofia like to eat their treats right away, Gabby likes to savor hers and does not want to eat defensively!
the great divide!
Whenever Gordon travels to the states it's usually to his California office.  In advance of his travel I start ordering on Amazon.  It's a joke in his office now, they know when he's coming.  There are certain things not sold here.... we've had cravings for Nilla wafers, plain Cheerios, graham crackers, etc.
the haul from Gordon's last trip
Some things are just cheaper in the states.... for example, Converse tennis shoes are half the price.  Gordon now always travels to the states with his rolling bag and an empty duffel or two.  Gordon has also learned to pick up a People magazine as soon as he hits the states and the newest one on the return.  We circulate American magazines between all of us at SIS.
I was tired of buying tiny containers of vanilla powder.... bring on the 32oz. vanilla extract!  I have dated it to see how long it takes me to use.

Jan hooks me up with magazines!
the latest from Aunt Jan... Nature Valley granola bars, wintergreen lifesavers and Jolly Ranchers!
thank you KP for a taste of New Orleans!
