Winter in Stockholm

It's ironic that it has been colder and snowier in the states than in Stockholm.  The girls are disappointed they haven't been able to sled (or sledge as the Brits say) more.  The lakes and rivers have not frozen enough for skating on this year.  The snow does help brighten things when there's not much daylight, unfortunately things are just grey and dirty from all the leftover gravel spread from the little snow we've had.

beautiful, snowy, sunrise on Djurgarden about 9am - early January

frozen shoreline around Djurgarden - mid-January

Humlegarden park
sledding at Vasaparken - mid-January
Audra and Sofia sledding after school - mid-January
