We have been lucky to have a mild first winter in Sweden. Apparently, last year at this time there was still snow on the ground. The sunshine brings people out to park benches and steps. Cafes are starting to set out outdoor tables and chairs (always with throws). As of April 1st the city bikes were back on the racks. All of this is very misleading because we mentally think it's warmer than it is and venture out without enough layers... it's still in the 30's in the morning.
