Forio, Ischia, Italy - Friday

On Wednesday, after 3 1/2 days in Italy the girls declared they were tired of pizza and pasta!

Friday - Lazy morning of looking for shells along the beach

We took a bus from Forio to Panza (the next little town), walked approx. 1km and 300 steps down to Terme (thermal) Sorgeto beach with natural hot springs.  The very edge of the water where you enter is scalding hot... that's why there are walkways laid out across the rocks. The girls were thankful Gordon did not sport a European swimsuit.

Interesting gate on the walk to Sorgeto
View of Sant Angelo (another port) from the road to Sorgeto
A view of Sorgeto beach from the top
View to the right of the beach
View to the left of the beach
Luckily a restaurant at the bottom next to the thermal pool
Stairs to Sorgeto, the green is the narrow walkways to enter the cooler areas of water
Sofia curled up in Gordon's lap, would not touch anything in the water because there were small fish and small black crabs on the rocks (don't blame her... but couldn't let her know that!)
Rainbow on the walk back from the beach to the bus
Waiting for the bus back to Forio
Gelato #7
Time to pack up and cram souvenirs into suitcases.... we have to catch a 6:50 am ferry to Naples.
