Tickets for Sagrada Familia can be bought on site but I recommend buying them online to avoid waiting in long lines. General tickets allow for viewing the inside and outside of the church. Special tickets can be bought to tour some of the towers. To manage crowds a time needs to be selected when purchasing tickets.
Tickets (with audio guide): Basilica 19.30 euros/$26.54 (US) - Basilica and towers 23.80 euros/$32.73 (US)

One thing to know when purchasing tickets for the towers... children
under 6 years of age cannot go on the tower tour. We were questioned
and asked for Sofia's ID because the guard did not believe that she is
seven. Luckily the other guard was more easy-going and gave his approval.
We started off our visit with a tour of the Nativity tower. An elevator
takes you up in small groups and you take your time winding your way
down to the bottom again along narrow winding staircases. The Tower
tour allows you to view some of the details up close because there are
sculptures and vignettes almost everywhere. We also had a view of some
of the current construction and areas that were obstructed due to construction.
The yin and yang of traveling with kids... when Sofia first saw the
Nativity facade she said 'whoa, that's amazing'!! Gabby's review 'it's
just an old building, old buildings are the same as museums and I don't
like them'. Sigh.
One day after returning to Stockholm, Gordon and Gabby were passing a book store, in the window was a book with a photo of the Basilica de la Sagrada Familia on it, Gordon asked Gabby what that building was and she answered 'I don't know'. Sigh.
